Doing Away with Immutability

One major hallmark of blockchain technology is its immutability. Of course, it is a big word in blockchain ecosystem. Tagion’s DART technology, the bottom layer of Tagion’s system architecture makes the network do away with immutability. It’s immutability in blockchain that necessary and can that affect the application of DART in instances where immutability will be needed. That is uses of blockchain outside the realm of monetary value transfer. Do users also have to worry about censorship in the absence of immutability?

As such the network is neutral and we view Tagions just as a paper note. Let’s say that A gives a dollar to B, who then gives it to C. C does not need to know who A is unless there is a local regulation that requires it - but there is no censorship built into the network as such.
